Happens a lot now - probable cause ~Tanita Deskroteroni 27.Mar.03 01:00 PM a Web browser Notes Client 6.0Windows 2000
It seems to be happening after a user rename initiated in the Domino Directory, believe it or not. I had a brand new user set up on Notes 6.0.1 working fine. A week later, I had to correct her common name (thanks, HR). That's when the corruption began. Many attempts at resetting the toolbars, deleting desktop6.ndk and bookmark.nsf all failed miserably. I totally unistalled the Notes client, deleting everything except the user ID file. Re-installed and ran through setup. Same problem. I ended up deleting the person doc, deleting the entries out of certlog and re-registering the user. Then I uninstalled Notes and used the new user ID. No problems since.
Seems that all the bookmark/desktop/toolbar corruptions were with users that were renamed. Looks like a bug somewhere to me.
